Ohio Teacher Resigns After Adult Webcam Pics Surface

KENT, Ohio — Kristin Sunderland, the high school teacher who resigned her position after it was found out that she moonlighted as adult webcam model MelodyXXXTune, has resigned from the Kent City School District.

The district placed Sunderland, 31, last week on administrative leave following allegations of “inappropriate use of social media” after sexually explicit photos surfaced. Sundman spent eight years as an assistance band director at the Kent City High School.

Since resigning, Sundman has shut down her Twitter account and has requested that various online adult sites to remove her content.

That "inappropriate" use of social media was her March 25 appearance on ItsCleoLive.com, a live cam show.

Cleo, who is one of the top performers on MyFreeCams.com and is part of the VNAGirls.com network, said that Sunderland shouldn’t have had to resign after the photos surfaced.

“She did nothing wrong, broke no laws and at all times performed using her alias,” Cleo said. “Kirstin does not deserve the backlash, and I feel badly for her.

“A lot of girls have 'normal' jobs and cam on the side. It's sad that in 2015, girls still can't do camshows without society judging and shaming them."

Cleo said that Sunderland and her shot a number of live cam shows in March on VNALive.com and MyFreeCams.com, as well as an on-air appearance for BTLSRadio.com with radio host 25 cent.

“It was a lot of fun and fans loved her,” Cleo said.

VNALive.com's Vicky Vette said that the media has put Sunderland in a “terrible situation.”

“You cannot Google her name without knowing she web cammed,” Vette said. “If she ever wants an adult website so that she can make a living, I am happy to make one for her.

“What will she do now that society has made her out to be somehow immoral? Belle Knox was not run out of Duke, why should Kristin be run out of normal society just because she did a small amount of adult?"

Cleo is next live for members of ItsCleoLive.com tonight at 8 p.m. PDT.
